Norma Harper: A Life Filled with Love and Devotion to Family

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norma Harper, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who left an indelible mark on the lives of those around her. Born in 'date' to loving parents, Norma spent her life spreading joy and creating cherished memories for her family and friends.

Norma is survived by her 12 grandchildren, who will always remember her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support. Her children, Mary (Bruce Schneider) Chessey, Michael (Kathy) Chessey, Mark Chessey, Margaret (Jessica) Chessey, Martin Chessey, and Maureen Chessey, were the center of her universe, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Throughout her life, Norma was a faithful member of Three Rivers Baptist Church, where she found solace and strength in her faith. Her love for crochet was another source of joy, as she created beautiful blankets for her children and grandchildren. She also had a special fondness for the soap opera 'The Young and The Restless,' watching it faithfully over the years.

Norma's dedication to her family knew no bounds. As a devoted mother and grandmother, she spent countless hours nurturing and guiding those around her. Her warmth, compassion, and generosity inspired countless lives, leaving an enduring legacy that will be remembered for generations to come.

In addition to her loved ones, Norma is preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Glen 'Eddie' Watkins, Sr., as well as a son, Wesley Watkins; great granddaughter, Payton Watkins; ten grandchildren, Joanna, Alicia, Ashley, Amanda, D.J., Sarah, Justin, Jessica, Braxton, and Jamison; a sister, Darlene Holloway; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A celebration of Norma's life will be held on 'date' at 'location', followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather beginning at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to 'charity'.

As we say goodbye to this remarkable woman, we take comfort in knowing that she will always be with us in spirit. We offer our deepest condolences to her loved ones during this difficult time.
